More Rain Ahead – Then Sharply Colder – Tuesday Video

More much needed rain is on the menu today.  But hang on.  There’s more big changes ahead.  After 74 yesterday and near 70 today, sharply colder air is on the way, again.  We’re in an active pattern.  A weekend storm system could affect some of your plans.  And, a look at Christmas week and beyond.  We’ll hit the high points in a quick 2 minutes on your Tuesday morning weather briefing.

Additional rainfall amounts could total an inch or more in spots today and tonight.  Maybe some thunder, too.  Nothing severe.

More brutally cold air is set to sweep into the nation.  But, the core of the cold air will miss us.  We will just be “side-swiped” like the last chunk of cold air.   Our coldest day will be Thursday, and the coldest morning will be Friday, before temperatures skyrocket up again this weekend.
