Parade of Storm Systems Ahead – Saturday Severe Threat – Thursday Video

Good Morning!  Cooler today, but all eyes are on that Saturday storm system, with the potential of severe weather.  In fact, all of the state is now included in the severe threat.  That’s only first of a parade of storms, one after another, which will affect us about every three days for the next couple of weeks.  Each system could bring a severe weather threat.  I’ll walk you through the details on this morning’s important weather briefing.

SPC has expanded the Saturday Severe Threat to include virtually all of the state. Strongest risk from I-65 westward.  Greatest threat would be for damaging wind gusts.

Saturday’s storm system is really just the first of a series of storms that will come at us every few days, one after another for the next couple of weeks.  They are stacked up way out into the central Pacific already.
