Brisk & Sharply Cooler – Updated Weekend Forecast – Friday Video

Good Morning, on this Friday morning .. Much Cooler air is funneling into the state on gusty west winds.  Today will be like a Fall day in May.  I have brought some of the temperature numbers downward.  I have the updated weekend outlook.  Plus, a look at Talladega and the Beach outlook.  New drought monitor map.  And, I’ll tell you when the next storm system will arrive.  Here’s your Cinco De Forecast on Friday morning.

Gusty west winds at 15-20 mph, gusting higher, will make this seem like a Fall Day.  Highs may not make it out of the 50’s.  It will be at least 20 degrees too cool for this time in May.  Headed for the 40’s tonight.  Jackets will be needed.

The Euro Model shows the Big Chill settling in today.  Followed by a big temperature recovery next week, before the next storm system arrives next Friday.

Here’s the GFS temperature guidance for the next 16 days.  Heat returns next week.

New Drought monitor map came out yesterday, still showing widespread Moderate Drought in much of east and SE Alabama despite recent rain.
