More Showers/storms – Drier Air Returns Soon – Wednesday Video

Good Morning!  More showers & storms today as a cool front sweeps through the state. A few of the storms could be strong.  But, hang on.  There’s some nice air and beautiful weather ahead to end this week.  I’ll have the latest details on the Memorial Day weekend.  It’s certainly possible we could be dodging a few rain drops from time to time.  We’ll also take a peak at June outlook and the weekend beach forecast.

Cool front sweeps across the state today and brings another round of showers and storms, before drier air arrives for Thursday and Friday.

Storm Prediction Center has most of the eastern half of Alabama in a Marginal Severe weather risk today.  Some of the storms could produce damaging wind gusts.  Tornado threat is not zero, but on the low side.

Rain chances are small Saturday, but there’s a better chance of scattered showers and storms around from time to time Sunday & Memorial Day Monday.

Euro Model trends next 10 days… A couple of cooler nice days late week.  A hotter weekend.  Scattered showers at times Sunday/Monday.  A couple of shower episodes the following week, too.
