Holiday Weekend Forecast Updated – Thursday Video

Good Morning!  Some really nice air is funneling into the state this morning behind that departing storm system.  On this video, we will dig into the details of the Memorial Day Holiday weekend.  We could be dodging a few raindrops at times, that could affect your backyard BBQ plans or maybe your trip to the Lake.  I’ll update the rain chances and show you how much rain could fall.  Plus, I have the weekend beach forecast.  It’s all in a compact 2 minute package on your Thursday morning personal weather briefing.

In the wake of the storm, cooler, less humid air is moving in on gusty northwesterly winds.  Should be a great Thursday, and another cool, comfortable night tonight.

Scattered showers and maybe some thunderstorms could affect outdoor plans especially Sunday afternoon/night, and anytime Monday Memorial Day.   Have a Plan B ready just in case.

Here’s the potential rainfall totals next 5 days, based on the Euro model.  A new drought monitor map comes out at 8AM this morning, by the way.

Here’s the weekend Beach Forecast.   The better rain chances hold off until late Sunday into Monday.   This from NWS:

HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK IN EFFECT INTO THIS EVENING.
