UPDATE: Rain “Likely” Three More Days

Not everybody got wet yesterday, and there may even be a few places that stay dry today, But, the majority of us will get wet.  And the better than normal rain chances continue through Tuesday, before we see a big improvement by mid-week.

So, numerous showers and scattered thunderstorms will be around again today. Highest coverage will be 1 to 6PM during peak heating. Severe weather is not expected but if you have outdoor plans stay weather aware, and plan to get wet.  Tonight, the coverage on the rain decreases a bit, in the overnight hours.   A few hi-res future radar snapshots will paint the picture.

NEXT FEW DAYS:   Rain probabilities will be rather high again on Monday and Tuesday, too.  An extended period of nice weather Wednesday through Sunday, will be just what the doctor ordered.

TROPICS:  That area of disturbed weather in the southern Gulf shows no organization.  It appears the moisture associated with this disturbance is headed for Florida where they need the rain.  The rest of the tropical Atlantic basin is quiet.

I’ll have your next video online for you by about 4:45AM.  We’ll look ahead to a big change in this weather pattern which will bring a big string of nice days in the week ahead.  Have a good day!
