Potentially Wet Week Ahead- Monday Video

Good Morning! The stage is set.  The atmosphere is primed. The week ahead will be wet at times, with a daily chance of showers & storms.  I’ll try to pin down which days have the better rain chances.  We’ll look at potential rainfall amounts.  And, the Gulf of Mexico could have some tropical trouble in a few days.  I’ll show you a couple of the global models.  Sit back with your toast & coffee this morning.  Here’s your Monday morning personal weather briefing.

Abundant tropical moisture blankets the Gulf South, which will lead to higher than normal rain chances every day this week and through the upcoming Father’s Day weekend.  The storms will be “random” of course.

Even though rainfall totals may “average” 2 to 2.5+ inches, through the weekend, localized amounts could be much higher due to slow moving storms which could produce flooding rainfall amounts.

Looks like highs in the upper 80’s appear likely for most of the next several days, through the weekend with a better than normal chance of showers and storms every day.

Tropical Trouble in the Gulf in a few days?  Three different Global models with 3 very different potential solutions.  We will be watching closely.
