Weekend Forecast Updated – And, Watching Jose Wednesday Video

As Irma’s remnants continue to pull away from Alabama, our weather is starting to return to some normalcy.  On this video, we’ll look toward and beyond.  Tropical moisture from the Gulf, means afternoon storms will return to the forecast.  I’ll update the numbers on your weekend forecast.  All eyes on Hurricane Jose now.  Is there a chance that Jose could be the 3rd hurricane to make landfall in the United States in one month?  Here’s your Wednesday morning weather briefing with your toast and coffee this morning.

Remnants of Irma are departing and lifting into the middle Mississippi valley today, taking the moisture with it.

Returning tropical moisture means the return to random spotty PM showers/storms to our area by the weekend.

Hurricane Jose still has winds of 75 mph with little change expected next few days.  Jose’s future is rather uncertain.

A couple important Global models indicate Jose could be close or move inland to the US coastline late next week.  We’re watching.  Can you imagine 3 hurricanes in one month?
