Thanksgiving Weekend Forecast

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!  The news is very good for Alabama, but it sure was a close call.  (Much of Florida is getting drenched.  More on that in a moment.)  For us, sunshine will be abundant, and temperatures will be comfortable.  We should be headed for the mid 60’s today, and low 40’s tonight.  Our great weather will continue through the Holiday weekend and that includes a great Iron Bowl forecast.

HOLIDAY TRAVEL:  There are two areas of the country where the weather is not so nice.  Most of the state of Florida will be drenched today and Friday.  That includes the resort parks in Orlando, too.  The other nasty area is in the Pacific northwest where yet another big storm could hamper air travel with rain and wind and snow in the mountains.  It’s chilly in the northeast, but warm from the Plains to the southwest.  Some record heat is expected in the Southwest states including California.

IRON BOWL FORECAST:  We couldn’t write a better Iron Bowl forecast for the big day in Auburn.  Tailgating will start early.  The morning low will be a chilly 42, but we should see a very nice 65 by kickoff, falling to the mid 60’s by the end of the game.  Perfect football weather.

I hope you and your family have a wonder and very Happy Thanksgiving!
