Weekend Forecast – More Ups and Downs – Thursday Video

Good Morning!   As our temperature rollercoaster ride continues, I’ll tell you about a surge upward today, before a big drop tomorrow.  But, the global models are advertising a much milder trend ahead.  It could last through the Holidays.  But, it’s much more complicated than that.  I’ll do my best to sort out the details for you as we attempt to pin down the Christmas forecast.  Here’s your Thursday morning personal weather briefing.

Today, temperatures will be mild, and surge upward into the lower 60’s  BUT, temperatures come crashing down Friday.  It should be a raw winter day with highs not making it out of the 40’s and the wind will make it seem colder.

Looks like a nearly ideal forecast for the Camilla Bowls Saturday evening.

The Global models continue to advertise an extended mild pattern beginning and continuing through Christmas and beyond.  BUT, bitter cold air will not be far away…

Christmas week, the GFS shows bitter cold air engulfing much of the nation, except for the Southeast.  Late Christmas Week, the cold shifts eastward, but apparently not straight southward, yet.
