Scattered Tropical Downpours For Several Days – Wednesday Video

Good Morning!  There’s rain on the radar, and it looks like the threat of showers and thunderstorms will be in the forecast for the next several days.  But, some places could see a lot of rain, and other places not so much.  I’ll bring you up to date on the new thinking on our rainfall potential through the weekend and beyond.  We’ll also look at some tropical possibilities on the horizon.  Now, 3 global models are hinting at some Tropical Trouble down the road.

Some towns will get drenched today.  Some towns will not see one drop.  Welcome to that familiar pattern.

Scattered random tropical downpours will be roaming around for the next several days.  The probability of seeing showers will be high each day, but rainfall amounts will widely vary because of the random nature of the activity.

Looks like all the potential heavy rainfall totals will be in Florida and Georgia over the next 7 days.  We will take any rain drops we can get, though.  We really need rain.

Tropical Trouble later in the month?  Well, now it’s not just the GFS model hinting at something, the Euro and the Canadian global models are now onboard with this idea.  We’ll see.  The first name on the list this year is Alberto. Stay tuned.
