Will Rain Affect Weekend Events? – Updated Rain Chance – FRIDAY Video

Good Morning on a very wet Friday morning!   A two part storm system is affecting the state.  Carry the umbrella today.  You will need it at times.  What about the Montgomery Parade tonight?  Christmas on the Coosa and the Camellia Bowl tomorrow?  On this video, I’ll break down the details with the updated rain chance.  The heavy coats, gloves and scarves may not be needed for quite some time.  I’ll show a very mild week before Christmas for the entire nation.  Will the mild weather last through Christmas?  We’ll look two weeks into the future.

It won’t rain out of the time, but showers will be around for time to time.  There could even be a few rumbles of thunder.  By Parade time in Montgomery this evening, I have a 40-50% chance of showers at Parade time.,

The storm system affecting us today, will begin to pull away tomorrow.  Rain chances on Saturday are small but not zero.

The forecast Sunday through Tuesday is shaping up very well.  Should be dry, and relatively mild for December.  Small rain chance Wednesday as a Gulf coast storm system brushes by the area.

Looks like Winter will go on hold  next week for the entire nation.  Much above normal temperatures.

The 15 day Raw Temps on the EURO model suggests the very mild pattern will continue for at least the next two weeks.  No freezing temperatures indicated.  A very nice break from winter….
