Parade of Storm Systems – Arctic Air Next Week –TUESDAY Video

Good Morning!  Are forecast for the next several days is rather active.  It will be wet at times and maybe stormy, too.  The models do not agree on the day to day details, but on this video I’ll try to untangle the details.  And, Cold weather fans…what have been telling you for the last several days.  Arctic air will arrive very early in the new month of March.  In fact, now the major global models are agreeing on the time table.  Are you ready to take a big plunge?

Mild today.  Could be showers by afternoon.  Better chance of scattered showers and maybe a thunderstorm tonight.

Wet and active next few days as a parade of storm systems move through the area.

Could parts of Alabama see some strong, possibly severe storms Friday?  Currently SPC has areas along and south of a Greenville/Troy line in a Marginal Risk.  We’ll see if this area is adjusted as we get closer to Friday…

ATTENTION COLD WEATHER FANS:  How many weeks have I been telling you that arctic air will be arriving the first week of March?  Now the models are agreeing on the mid week arrival next week, somewhere around March 5/6th.  Are you ready for the plunge?

The Raw Numbers from the computer models look pretty darn interesting around March 7, and 8th especially.   Low 40’s for highs?   Low 20’s for lows?   And, these numbers are subject to revision as we get closer.
