SUNDAY UPDATE:  Another Big Chill – Sharply Cooler

Yesterday’s high was 81.  Today’s high may get out of the 50’s and some of us are headed for the 30’s tonight, on this last day of March.  The cold Front which brought showers to the area while you slept, is ushering in a big change. Parts of north Alabama are under a freeze warning.  We can expect a couple of cool days and some very chilly nights.  We’ll warm-up late week, ahead of a Friday storm system.  Here’s the map at 1PM today.  The cold front will have made down to the coast by then.

TODAY:   Risk of leftover showers, mainly this morning.  Breezy and cooler.  Our high may not make 60.  We’ll say 59.  That brisk north breeze will make it seem cooler. Partly cloudy, much colder tonight.  Low temperature by dawn Tuesday, upper 30’s.

NEXT FEW DAYS:   Cool Monday.  Chilly Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.  Late week warming.  Chance of showers Thursday.  Showers and storms Friday.

LATE WEEK STORM SYSTEM:  A frontal system approaches the state Thursday night into Friday.  We note that the storm prediction center has a severe weather risk out to the west of us daytime Friday.  There could be some stronger storms when the front arrives here.  We’ll monitor this system for a severe weather threat.

POLLEN FORECAST:  Very high range today and tomorrow.  A little lower Tuesday.

I’ll have a complete video update Monday morning.  We’ll focus in on the details
