Big Temperature Plunge – Sharply Colder But, Not For Long–THURSDAY VIDEO

Good morning! A line of showers and thunderstorms cuts through the area early this morning, followed by a Cold Front, which will bring a Big Temperature Plunge.  Falling temperatures today.  After a record high of 81 yesterday, we’ll be in the 30’s tonight.  Winds will make it seem colder.  There will be a freeze Friday night.  Alabama will get a brief break from the rain, but maybe not for long.  We’ll look ahead to what could be another very wet week ahead.  And, I’ll show you another Temperature Plunge before next week is over.

 

First of two cold fronts moves through this morning.  This will be a day of falling temperatures from the 60’s to the 50’s to 40’s by evening. Windy & Colder.   30’s tonight.

Sharp Temperature drop today and tonight.  Chilly Friday.  A Freeze Friday night.

 

 

COLD start Friday and Saturday morning.  Nice recovery Saturday afternoon.  Warming trend early and mid week.  Risk of showers most of next week.

WET week again…next week.

Orange dots are rivers with minor flooding.  RED dot is moderate flooding.

The Alabama River at Montgomery will remain above flood stage until early next week.
