Spring-like Warmth – Small Rain Chance Next Few Days -THURSDAY VIDEO

Good Morning!  A gigantic high over the Gulf in the upper atmosphere will keep us in a very warm pattern for several days ahead.  Showers will the “tease” our area at times.  A weak front may bring a few showers tomorrow.  But, over-all, the best chance of rainfall will be across Alabama’s northern counties through much of next week.  What about the weekend details?  How long could the above normal temperatures remain?  I’ll update the Pollen Forecast, too, on your Thursday morning personal weather briefing.

We’re still officially in Winter until next Thursday.  Today, however, will be an unusually warm March day.  Low 80’s in South Alabama.

Rain chances are a little better tomorrow (40-50%)  as a Weak front drifts southward.

A stubborn and strong upper level ridge of high pressure will keep us very warm and basically storm free for several days.

Extended period of very warm March days well into next week…  Small rain chance each day.

What a difference from north to south.  Over the next 5 days, parts of north Alabama could see 2-4″ of rain, while south Alabama, has very little rain at all.

Pollen will be more and more of an issue, not only for the next few days, but over the coming weeks.
