Showers Will Return – Hot Holiday Weekend – WEDNESDAY Video

Good Morning!  An upper low over the Tennessee Valley will keep Alabama’s weather unsettled at times over the next couple of days.  Today the best risk of showers will be across the southern strip of counties.  But, for the rest of the week, the risk of showers will be in the forecast each day.  On this video, we’ll look ahead to hotter days over the Memorial Day Holiday weekend.  I have an update on the Beach Forecast, too.  And, we’ll check the tropics.  Could there be anymore tropical development before this month is over ?

Today the best chance of showers in our state will be across the southern strip of counties and a few across north Alabama.  Many of us will be dry and comfortable today.

An upper low across the Tennessee Valley will keep things unsettled across  the region for the next 2 days.  By Friday, the upper low lifts out.  An upper Ridge will build and temperatures will heat up for the weekend.

It should be rather hot & steamy over the Memorial Day holiday weekend with some spotty pop up showers and t’storms especially in the afternoon & evening.

There will be at least a risk of a shower from time to time over the holiday weekend at the beach.  Pretty routine.  Highs in the low to mid 80’s.    Gulf water temperature 78.
