Cristobal is a Tropical Storm again, near the Yucatan. Maximum winds have increased to 40 mph. A Tropical Storm Watch is now in affect along the Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama coast, as far east as the Alabama/Florida line. Tropical storm conditions possible with 48 hours

Happy Friday! Did you get any rain at your house yesterday? The odds of encountering one of those random pop-up storms will get a little better today and through Sunday, but still your odds of getting a downpour are about 50/50. Two words: Hot & humid summarize the forecast. So, what about Cristobal, as it heads for the northern Gulf coast this weekend. How will Cristobal effect Alabama? Cristobal is just a weak tropical depression this morning over the Yucatan. It will be over land for about 12-18 more hours before emerging over the Gulf. It will become a tropical storm again, and grow stronger, as it accelerates northward toward the northern Gulf coast by Sunday evening, and Sunday night.
