Showers on Hiatus – Triple Digit Heat Indices Continue – Labor Day Weekend Forecast Update – WEDNESDAY Video

Good morning!  Those random PM storms that are so much a part of our summer lives will go on hiatus for few days, as high pressure builds above us.  Meanwhile, the summer heat continues.  Looks for a Heat Index into triple digits, teasing the Danger Range through the end of the week.  Showers will make a comeback at some point over the Labor Day weekend.  I’ve updated the details for here and the coast.  Will we see some heat relief late next week?  Maybe… I have an update for you. And, in the tropics we’re tracking Nana, Omar and 2 more systems.

 

As the Upper Ridge builds above us, showers will be on hiatus for the next few days.  Meanwhile close to the danger range of the Heat Index.

Rain chances just about Nil through Friday.  Widely scattered storms Saturday.  Scattered storms return Sunday and Labor Day Monday.

Routine beach forecast for most of the Labor Day weekend.  Rain chances improve by Labor Day Monday.  Very high Heat Index this weekend.
