SPECIAL Saturday PM Update: Another Tropical Depression Headed for the Gulf – Could Become a Hurricane – Headed for the Northern Gulf Coast

It just doesn’t seem fair.  Another Tropical Depression (#28) has formed in the Caribbean 225 miles SSE of the western tip of Cuba.  (Moving NNW at 2).   It could become a hurricane in the south central Gulf Tuesday.  It’s aiming for the northern Gulf Coast.  And, guess what?   ALL of Alabama is in the cone.  Could make landfall by mid-week.  Next name on the list is ZETA. We’ve only gotten that far in the Greek Alphabet one time, back in 2005. Could be, if nothing else a heavy rain producer for us.  Maybe more.  It’s early.  2020 will not let up.

I’ll have much more in the morning.
