SUNDAY UPDATE: Quiet Pattern For Now – Warming Trend This Week

Good Morning!  Once again, the news is good.  I said this yesterday, and it’s worth repeating.  I do not see any “big ticket” weather in at least the next 10 days.  In January, that’s always good news.  This can be a very turbulent month.  Also, the Arctic Flood gates are closed for now.

So, this will be a short update.  We’re cooler today.  The coldest night will be tonight.  A modest warming trend starts tomorrow.  The next chance of rain arrives Thursday.  No severe weather is expected.

      Today…high pressure is in control.

TODAY:  Morning cloudiness will give way to a good but of sunshine.  (Yesterday’s high was 63)  Today will be a cooler day.  High 56.  That’s close to the normal high.  (Normal: Hi 56, Lo 37).  Tonight will be cold.  Low temperature will be close to the freeze mark by dawn.

NEXT FEW DAYS:   Quiet through Wednesday.  A modest trend will be in place Monday through Wednesday with highs in the 60’s. Nights will be cool.  Showers return Thursday.

No severe weather is expected with the Thursday storm system.

After Thursday, the next storm system is about a week away on Sunday, January 10th

Have a GREAT Sunday! I’ll have a complete video update in the morning.
