Still Hot & Dry – Scattered Shower Risk Begins Friday – WEDNESDAY Video

Good Morning!  This amazingly long stretch of very warm, dry weather rolls on.  We’re headed for the 90’s again today and tomorrow…and still dry.  But, there’s finally hope for a few raindrops in the state by Friday as a frontal system approaches.  There will be a small rain risk Friday through Sunday, but by no means will Holiday Weekend activities be in jeopardy of being rained out.  The showers will be spotty.  I’ll update the details of the Memorial Day weekend forecast for here and the Gulf Coast on this video.

Not much change today. Still Hot & Dry. There could be a couple of showers in north Alabama today, but we’ll be dry in central and south Alabama.

We need the rain! But, not much rain is expected. Some towns could see between a tenth and a quarter inch of rain. Some towns may not get any. It will be spotty.

Hot and dry through Thursday. Risk of showers and maybe some thundershowers Friday. Small risk will continue Saturday and Sunday. Memorial Day looks dry and warm, right now.

Great weekend forecast down at the coast. Comfortable. Small risk of showers and maybe a thundershower or two. The forecast calls for a Moderate Rip Current Risk Friday…and a lower risk Saturday and Sunday.
