Nicholas Rain Will Drench The Gulf South Next Few Days – WEDNESDAY Video

Good morning!  It’s going to rain.  In fact, get ready.   Much higher than normal rain chances will continue for the next several days.  We can certainly point a finger at what’s left of Nicholas.  The remnants of “Nick” will be stalled over west Louisiana for a few days.  Basically, through, we have tropical airmass over us, and there’s nothing to kick it out.  This scenario continues through the weekend.  Have a Plan “B” ready.  Be flexible with your plans.  In the Tropics, we have two systems in the Atlantic that are likely to be named.  The next two names are Odette and Peter.

The Remnants of Nicholas are parked over the TX/LA Border. Across the Gulf States, a tropical airmass will continue to keep very high chances in the forecast for the next several days. Sun glasses can be put up for a few days, at least.

If you are looking for a sunny, rain-free day, get on a plane and fly somewhere. “Monsoon season” here in Alabama will be stuck for several days.

The Tropics continue very busy. Invest 95-L off Africa now has a 90% chance of development. The system next the Bahamas could possibly have implications for the United States. Both systems will eventually get a name. The next two names on the list are Odette and Peter.
