SUNDAY UPDATE: Warmer Today – Showers Tonight – Much Cooler Monday & Tuesday

Good Morning!  The weather for the next few days, fortunately, is rather quiet.  I see no “Big Ticket” weather for Thanksgiving week, and that’s quite a rarity.  There will be lots of ups and downs on the temperatures Thanksgiving week, but no major storm systems,

Today, after a chilly start, will be comfortable.  Southerly winds will promote a nice afternoon warm-up.  Clouds will increase later.  A Cold Front enters the state tonight.  Showers will precede the front, and there could be the rumble of thunder.  The rain risk will be mostly overnight.  Much cooler air will follow the front for Monday and Tuesday.

TODAY:   Chilly this morning.  Nice warming later today. Sun & Cloud mix.  Clouds will increase later.  High today 73.  Southeast winds 5 to 9 mph.  Scattered showers by late tonight, especially after midnight as the front approaches.  There could be the rumble of thunder.  Nothing severe.

Here’s some Future Radar snapshots….late tonight and Monday morning.

NEXT FEW DAYS:  Monday will start out cloudy, with sunshine later.  Breezy and much cooler, again.  60’s Monday, but near or below freezing by Tuesday morning.  Tuesday will be the coldest day with highs in the 50’s.  Another freeze is expected Wednesday morning.  Temperatures start to recover Wednesday and Thursday.  More showers are expected Thanksgiving night, but the risk of showers will start to decrease by Friday morning. No severe weather is expected.  A fresh supply of cooler air will overspread the area on Black Friday and Iron Bow Saturday.

THANKSGIVING:  All in all …. A nice day and fairly typical for Thanksgiving.  We’ll start in the upper 30’s at Dawn and end up in the upper 60’s by afternoon.  Close to normal.  Another cold front enters the state Thursday night.  Showers return for Thursday night until early Friday morning, but nothing severe is expected

I’ll have a complete video in the morning, online by 4:45 AM.  Enjoy your Sunday!
