Rain Risk Today – Chilly Wednesday – Arctic Air This Weekend – TUESDAY Video

Good Morning!  As expected, the Low in the Gulf has brought rain to the southern 2/3 of the state.  The rain risk will continue until early afternoon. More colder air will follow.  Late week looks quiet & storm free.  Another shot of Arctic arrives late Friday.  The weekend looks Cold, like last weekend.  But, on this video, we’ll look ahead.  There’s better news ahead as January ends and February begins.  I think you’ll like the trend.

The risk of rain, for most of continues through early afternoon, before ending, as the Gulf Low moves east. Colder tonight. we’re headed for a freeze.

Future radar shows the trend of the main rain shield shifting into Southeast Alabama by mid to late afternoon.

Wednesday will colder again. Briefly milder Thursday. Then, another shot of Arctic air moves in late Friday and Friday night. Saturday and Saturday night will be Arctic Cold and breezy.

I’m excited about the trend next week. As January ends and February begins, it looks like this Arctic Nonsense may be over for awhile. The news is better next week.
