Cold Front Brings Risk of Showers – Much Cooler Tonight –  TUESDAY Video

Good Morning!  A cold Front drifting through the state today is bringing a risk of showers.  But, not every town will get wet. In fact, many places will stay dry. Much cooler air will overspread the area tonight.  By morning, some spots will be in the upper 40’s here in central Alabama.  A series of storm-free, dry tranquil days will follow.  Expect a nice warming trend by late week and into the weekend.  The next rain chance may hold off until about Sunday.  On this video, I’ll walk you through the details of the next several days.

As the front crosses the state today, spotty showers will pop up here and there. Highs well into the 70’s. Much cooler tonight. Clearing late. Low by dawn 48.

Some towns may get wet today, but the activity will be rather limited. Here’s on model Future Radar snapshot early this afternoon. (HRRR model)

We’ll sample some much cooler air. Jacket weather next two nights.

Late week warming trend. Back to the 80’s Thursday through the

weekend. Risk of showers, perhaps, by Sunday. Small risk.
