SUNDAY UPDATE:   Random Scattered Showers & Storms

Good Morning!  Welcome to May..  Today’s weather will be more like the first day of June. Scattered random storms will dot the radar screen, especially this afternoon & evening.  Outside of the showers, it will be quite warm and increasingly humid.

The week ahead will feel more and more like summer.  We’ll be in the upper 80’s each day, flirting with, perhaps, our first 90 degree day of 2022.  Although, there will be a risk of showers and thunderstorms, they will be more widely scattered in nature.  There will not be much day to day change through the end of the week.

An approaching front is enhancing the rain chance especially across north Alabama this morning. But, the front will stall and never make it to our neighborhood.

TODAY:  Very warm, humid.  Mostly cloudy.  Scattered random showers and storms.  Not every town will get wet.   High in the mid 80’s.  Storms fade out by sunset.  Mild tonight.  Low 64

Here’s an afternoon Future Radar snapshot. Not every town will get wet.

I had .44 at my house in East Montgomery Saturday afternoon.

MONDAY:    Showers and storms will be much more widely scattered in nature, mainly in the afternoon & evening hours.  Sun/cloud mix.   Hot for May.  High in the upper 80’s.  Mid 60’s Monday night.

NEXT FEW DAYS:  The week ahead will feel more and more like summer.  We’ll be in the upper 80’s each day, flirting with, perhaps, our first 90 degree day of 2022.  Although, there will be a risk of showers and thunderstorms, they will be more widely scattered in nature.  There will not be much day-to-day change through the end of the week.  Rain chances could be a little better by Friday.

Have a nice Sunday!  Tomorrow morning, we’re going to start a new formula.  It’ll be more like this.  A blog update, with a brief video intro from me..    We’ll refine and tweak the product over the coming days.  Have a nice Sunday!
