SATURDAY UPDATE:  Slight Humidity Break Today – Random Storms Return Monday

Good Morning!   The first weekend of June is starting off on a nice note.  How about less humidity?  At least for today.  It Should be great for outdoor activities.  Very warm, but tolerable.   Enjoy it, because the humidity will start to creep back Sunday & Monday. Random PM storms return Monday.

Looks like some really hot days later in the week.  Expect mid 90’s by Wednesday and Thursday.

Meanwhile, that tropical system will make landfall in Florida today, dropping boatloads of rain.

TODAY :   A Little less humid.  Abundant sunshine.  High near 90.  Northeast wind 5 to 10.  Mostly clear tonight.  Overnight low 68

SUNDAY:  Humidity starts to return.  Mostly sunny.  High near 90.  East wind 5 to 10 mph.   I have the rain chance around 10% Low Sunday night near 70.

NEXT FEW DAYS:   Hot and humid days.  Random widely scattered storms  Monday.  Hotter by mid-week.  Mid 90’s Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.  Random PM storms return Thursday.

BEACH FORECAST:   Routine forecast.  Isolated PM storms possible today & Sunday.  Generally dry Monday.   Highs in the 80’s.  Gulf water temperature 81.  High Rip Current Risk through Sunday.  Moderate Monday.

TROPICAL OUTLOOK:   That tropical system – Potential Tropical Cyclone One is even less organized this morning, located (at 4AM CDT) 100 miles SW of Fort Myers moving NE at 18 mph.  Max winds 40 mph.  Besides gusty winds, it will drop excessive rainfall amounts in south Florida today.  After PTC 1 departs Florida and gets into the Atlantic, it will become stronger.  It still could eventually become a true tropical storm and perhaps become ALEX.

It’s been a great couple of days on the Alabama coast.  Good times with my friends.  Great food.  Excellent weather.

Multi-state tour.

I’ll have another Blog update in the morning.  Have a nice weekend!
