TUESDAY Update:  Extended Wetter Than Normal Pattern Continues

Good Morning!  Here’s my brief video forecast discussion from the National Weather Association conference in Pittsburgh.  .     

 
CLIMATE DATA:   Yesterday’s high in Montgomery was only 83, morning low 74.  Normal hi/lo is 93 and 71.  The airport had a Trace of rain. Sunrise: 6:16.  Sunset 7:20.

TODAY:  Dense fog in spots this morning. Our elevated rain chance continues again today.  Limited sunshine.  Scattered to numerous showers & storms, just about anytime, but especially in the afternoon & evening. High 84.     Low tonight 72.   

Radar will be quite active today. Here’s a Future Radar example late this afternoon. aNumerous showers & Storms….again.

NEXT FEW DAYS:      Scattered to numerous showers and storms will continue at least through Thursday. Storms perhaps slightly less numerous by Friday & Saturday.    High temperatures will be held by clouds and showers.  Highs mainly  in the low to mid to Upper 80’s through Thursday.   Lows at night in the low 70’s.  Little day to day change.

TROPICAL OUTLOOK:   That Area to Watch in the tropical Atlantic has been promoted to Invest 90-L.  NHC has a 20% chance this system will develop into a Tropical Cyclone in the next 5 days.

 Most tropical models show this system curving into the Atlantic.

 Many tropical models take this system to Tropical Storm status in the next 120 hours. 

The rest of the Atlantic Basin is still quiet.

I had a GREAT time watching the Braves beat the Pirates at PNC Park last night!   Incredible seats!  Braves won.  The Mets lost.   YES.   What a wonderful experience last night.
