TUESDAY Update:  Storms Thin Out a Bit – Up & Down Rain Chance through Friday

Good Morning!  Here’s my brief video forecast discussion.     

 
CLIMATE DATA:  Montgomery had a high of 89 yesterday, after a morning low of 75. Normal Hi/Lo:  92 and 69.  Airport rainfall: 0.01”    Sunrise: 6:24, Sunset 7:03.   

TODAY:   Partial sunshine.  Not as many storms on the radar today, Widely scattered  & storms especially in the afternoon and evening hours.  High in the upper 80’s.     Low tonight 72.   

Radar will be rather tame today compared to the last few days.

NEXT FEW DAYS:      Through Wednesday,  the probability of rain will be lower.  Random storms will be few and far between Not as many storms on the radar.  But the up and down rain chance will go UP again by late week.  Showers and storms will be scattered to numerous again by Friday & Saturday. High temperatures will come down a bit, especially late week.   

 The best rain chance will be Friday & Saturday.   We will be on the wet side of a Upper Low.

TROPICAL OUTLOOK:   Danielle is still a Hurricane in the North Atlantic. 

Earl  is likely to become a Hurricane soon. 

An Area to Watch in the eastern Tropical Atlantic, has a good chance of becoming a named tropical storm in  a few days. 

Could there be some tropical mischief in the Gulf next week?   Stay tuned.
