A tornado watch is in effect until 6AM for much of central and south Alabama. A few tornadoes are likely. Scattered wind gusts to 70 mph. Hail up to ping pong size. Stay weather aware through the overnight hours.

By 7AM, the main line of storms will be in the Wiregrass, according to the HRRR model.
AFTER the overnight Severe Weather Threat…expect improvement during the day Wednesday. Temperatures will fall from the 60’s in the morning to the 50’s in the afternoon. We’re headed for the 30’s Wednesday night. But, there should be a nice warmup by Friday and the weekend. Small rain chance Saturday and Sunday.
