FRIDAY Update:   Getting Warmer – Daily Risk of Showers Returning

(** I’m on a brief vacation  in  New York City.  My Blog Updates will be very brief for a few days through Sunday, as I enjoy a super- packed itinerary on my vacation.    Some of those mornings, just the forecast.  Thanks for your understanding.    But, you’ll still hear by updates on the radio, everyday.)

Good Morning from New York City!  It’s a little “coolish” here with highs in the 50’s.   But, back in Alabama we continue to heat up.  In fact, by the weekend and into the early part of next week we will be very warm.  Upper 80’s to near 90 Saturday through Wednesday.  Random showers and a few thundershowers are also returning each day especially in the afternoon and evening.

TODAY:  We’ll be in the mid 80’s Friday and upper 80’s over the weekend.  I took the rain chance up just a notch. A few hit or miss showers & thundershowers may start to pop up.  But, Saturday through Tuesday, look for more of a summer-like scenario with more scattered spotty, random hit or miss storms..  (Yesterday’s high in Montgomery was 80)

Here’s a Future Radar snapshot at 1:00 PM.

NEXT FEW DAYS:  We’ll be in the mid 80’s today with isolated PM showers.  Meanwhile, we will continue to heat up.  In fact, over the weekend and into the early part of next week we will be very warm.  Upper 80’s to near 90 Saturday through Wednesday.  Random showers and a few thundershowers are also returning each day especially in the afternoon and evening. A little taste of summer in early May!

BEACH FORECAST:   Not bad!  Lots of sun today and Saturday.  Just a small rain chance Sunday.  Chilly Gulf water temperature 73. Moderate rip current risk.

Thanks for reading this very brief Blog this morning! As mentioned above, I’m on vacation in New York City.

MY NIGHT IN NEW YORK CITY last night. Here with my niece Shelly and husband Bill O’brien. Last night Times Square and my fist Broadway play. Wonderful experience. NEW YORK< NEW YORK.

St. James Theater last night. AMAZING show!

First Subway experience in my life.

We have an extremely packed itinerary today and tomorrow.  It’s Shelly’s Birthday. Today’s highlights include a Carriage Ride through Central Park and a Sunset Cruise on New York Harbor! And that’s only a tiny slice of our plan.

My daily updates to you through Sunday will be very brief, indeed.  Thanks for understanding!
