Good Morning! A cold front is sweeping through the state, wiping out yesterday’s mild air. Stand by for more dips and rises and dips over the next 6 days and beyond. There are 2 storm systems ahead between now and Christmas. I’ll update the latest time table. And what about Christmas? We know a little more this morning. I’ll share the latest information.
After mid 60’s yesterday, today’s highs fall back to the 50’s, but a stiff breeze this afternoon will make it seem colder. We’re headed back to the 20’s tonight.
Lots of Ups and Downs on the temperature over the next several days. Next chance of rain arrives Sunday night into Monday.
As we look toward Christmas Week and Christmas Day the global models continue to grapple with the big question. Will the arctic flood gates open for us or will we stay in mild air. The fact is, it’s a very very close call, and too close to make right now. Stay tuned.
Its a very close call indeed on Christmas day…with frigid air covering much of the nation, will the mild air in the southeast hold? The jury is still out on this question.
