Fred Aims for the Florida Gulf Coast -TD 7 Forms will become Grace Saturday

4PM NHC UPDATE on FRED:

Fred is still a Depression Located near the northern Cuba coast, moving WNW at 12 mph, winds 35 mph.  Expected to regain Tropical Storm strength Saturday,  Tropical Storm Warning for the Keys.  It will effect the Keys on Saturday, then make a right turn through the eastern Gulf, west of Florida.  Should make landfall on the Florida panhandle as a tropical storm on Monday, then track northward through central  Alabama.  Fred will produce very heavy rain especially east of its track.

All of Alabama is in the Cone.  If you took the center line of the cone literally it shows a 2PM Monday landfall near Destin (60 mph), then weakening quickly as it moves up through Montgomery, Birmingham 2am Tuesday and curves to Chattanooga.

4PM UPDATE ON NEWLY FORMED T.D. 7 (Future Grace):

Potential Tropical Cyclone 7 is now T.D. 7, located in the Tropical Atlantic.  Winds 35 mph.  Moving west at 22 mph.  Expected to become a Depression tonight and tropical Storm Grace by tomorrow.  Should be near the Leeward Islands Saturday and Near Puerto Rico by Sunday night and the Dominican Republic by Monday.  The future track is similar to Fred, in that the system will pass north of Cuba into the Bahamas by Wednesday.   

There will be another complete early tomorrow morning before dawn.
