MONDAY Update:  Storm-Free – Comfortable Days – Cool Nights

Good Morning!  Last Monday we were in the grips of an extreme Record-breaking Arctic Blast.  What a turn around we have witnessed.  We have had several days with highs in the 70’s.  Today will be yet another beautiful November day. And, it looks like we’ll be near 80 by Tuesday and Wednesday. We could reach the lower 80’s by Thursday.  The nights are moderating as we’ll.   Tonight’s low 48. After tonight,  we’ll be in the 50’s at night for the rest of the week. Normal hi/lo 70/43.  The drought continues to grow worse.  It’s a dry forecast probably through Thursday night.  The best rain  prospects arrives on Friday, Friday night and into Saturday.  But even then, rainfall amounts could be disappointing. Here’s my brief Video Forecast Discussion.

TODAY:  Sunshine.  High 74.  Light wind.  Mostly clear, Not as cold, with a low around 48.

NEXT FEW DAYS: Spring-time in November continues.  We’ll be near 80 by Tuesday, Wednesday. Perhaps even low 80’s by Thursday. (Near Record High Thursday – 81/1901)  Even the nights are moderating.   We’ll be in the 50’s at night for the next several days. Normal hi/lo 70/43.  We have a dry forecast probably until late Thursday night.  The best rain  prospects arrives on Friday, Friday night and into Saturday. Severe weather is not expected at this time.

Here’s expected rainfall through the next 7 days.

Here’s the 10 Day Model Temperature Trend.  Above normal days continue.   Nights are not as cool.  Thanksgiving week now looks a little cooler.

THANKSGIVING WEEK IDEAS: We’re now 10 days till Thanksgiving. Do I feel comfortable about making a Thanksgiving Day forecast at this point? NO. Looks like it could be an active weather week especially Wednesday through Iron Bowl Saturday. Will we be in between 2 disturbances on Thanksgiving? MAYBE. (The graphics show the EURO model) Too early for a holiday forecast. Literal guidance has a morning low of 52 and a high of 69. Should we trust that? No. Right now, we’re just looking. Stay tuned.

Thanks for reading this Blog this morning. The next scheduled complete Blog update and Video Forecast Discussion is scheduled for the 4 o’clock hour on Monday morning.  Have a great weekend.
