Good morning! A Heat Advisory is still in effect through this evening. The heat index will likely reach the 105+ danger range. Scattered PM storms are back in the forecast starting today through the end of the week and over the weekend. Today some storms could be strong/severe. Even tomorrow there could be some storms reaching severe limits. Big Heat can produce big storms. Slow down. Take it easy. Stay hydrated

YESTERDAY: MGM high was 96 with a Heat Index of 106.

Here in Boise, Idaho: Morning low was 53. Afternoon high 85, but the dewpoint was 28. Perfect weather here.

TODAY: Heat Advisory continues. Lots of sunshine. Hot and humid again.

Today, some PM storms could be strong/severe. Big Heat can produce big storms.

High upper 90’s. Triple digit Heat Index near or above 105. Low tonight mid 70’s.

SPC has many of us in a Level 2 Severe Risk today. Damaging wind gusts possible in some storms. Downburst risk. Tomorrow a Level 1 Marginal Risk for much of the state. Again, big heat can produce Big Storms.

Heat Advisories and Excessive Heat Warnings still cover much of America.

FUTURE RADAR: Suggesting some of the stronger storms may be in the evening hours.

NEXT FEW DAYS: With highs in the middle 90’s, expect the Heat index to stay at or above 100. Nighttime lows in the extremely through the end through the end of the week and this weekend.

BEACH FORECAST: A few strong storms will be lurking at times.
