Good morning! The Upper Low that has lingered for several days, bringing showers, storms, and heavy downpours, is finally fading. Today, the best chance for storms will be across north Alabama, while most of us may see a few lingering, spotty showers.
What’s next? Get ready for an early taste of summer! From Thursday through Sunday, highs will climb into the lower 90s. Expect dry conditions from Wednesday through Friday, but scattered showers and storms could return this weekend. Here’s my brief video forecast discussion.
TODAY: Partial sunshine. Widely scattered storms are still possible, but they will be quite isolated. High 81. Light wind. Partly cloudy tonight. Low 64.
North Alabama will be the focus of some stronger storms closer to the fading upper Low.


The risk of showers and storms will start to fade. Hotter days are ahead.


NEXT FEW DAYS: Expect dry weather Wednesday through Friday. It will be hotter. Highs in the lower 90’s. Thursday through Sunday. The risk of some scattered showers and storms returns this weekend.
