6AM UPDATE:

It’s dangerous on the road in spots this morning. Freezing fog, advisory in effect for much of the area until 8 AM. At 6 AM in Montgomery. (MGM) quarter mile visibility in freezing fog and 30°.. elsewhere freezing fog in Troy 30° Prattville and Greenville 32°. Be especially careful on bridges and over passes which tend to freeze first. Take it easy. #alwx

Good Morning!  Freezing Fog Advisory early this morning.  Take it easy, especially on bridges and overpasses through 8AM..  But, expect a nice recovery later today, as highs reach into the lower 60’s. Over the next 6 days or so – expect lots of temperature ups and down. Tomorrow will be several degrees cooler today. Friday & Saturday we’ll be back in the 60’s.  By Sunday night and Monday we’ll briefly  “sample” some Arctic Air.  Monday will be cold.  It’s basically a dry forecast.  There could be a stray shower Saturday night. ..FREEZING FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM CST THIS MORNING…

* WHAT…Visibility one quarter mile or less in freezing fog.

* IMPACTS…Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility and potential frost on bridges.

TODAY:   The freezing fog advisory expires at 8am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 62.  TONIGHT:  Partly cloudy, with a low around 35. Northwest wind gusting as high as 20 mph.

Milder today, but a cold front will make us several degrees cooler Thursday, then warmer Friday.

NEXT FEW DAYS:    Over the next 6 days or so – expect lots of temperature ups and down. Tomorrow will be several degrees cooler today. Friday & Saturday we’ll be back in the 60’s.  By Sunday night and Monday we’ll briefly  “sample” some Arctic Air.  Monday will be cold.  It’s basically a dry forecast.  There could be a stray shower Saturday night.
