Weather changes are on the way for Thanksgiving week, but not right away. A Tuesday storms system will bring the risk of strong/severe storms to the state. 

SPC has issued a Marginal Severe Weather Risk covering north and central Alabama through Tuesday night.  Damaging winds will be the main threat.  Isolated tornadoes can’t be ruled out. 

A big temperature drop will follow.  Wednesday night will be Colder.  Thanksgiving will be chilly with highs in the 50’s.  It will be quite col though Iron Bowl weekend with Cold nights.
