Good News in the early morning hours! The severe parameters are MUCH weaker now. The warm front stayed much farther south, which kept the rich Gulf air from moving northward and engulfing the area. It appears the best threat for severe weather would be over the extreme south and southeast counties through 6AM. Meanwhile, after 6AM, the threat of severe weather will exit our state to the east.
I’ll be working on a regular Tuesday weather video for you, which will be online at 5. We will look ahead to an Arctic Blast on the way later this week.
