Good Morning! After a bitter cold weekend, we are about to turn the page. Winter will depart as quickly as it arrived. A spring-like January Thaw is on the menu. It’s another very cold, sub-freezing morning, but we should see 70’s by mid to late week and the warmth continues into the weekend. What else is ahead? The Climate Prediction Center says the next 8-10 days will be rather warm across the southeast and east as winter retreats for a few days.
We will be in the 70’s by Thursday.
Recent rains have really improved the Drought Monitor map. In fact, we should see another improvement when the next map comes out Thursday.
