It appears that the severe weather risk is fading quickly across central & south Alabama, which is good news for those of us wanting sleep. All the signals said it was going to be a big severe weather night. But, all the factors did NOT come together as expected. A big surprise. However, and this is a big however, there is still a very good chance that large parts of the state may be under another risk, as Round 3 arrives tomorrow, perhaps as early as 9AM and maybe as late as 3am in the far east. Threat of damaging winds, large hail, and possible tornadoes. The risk will be especially strong in the southeast counties. Stay weather aware, as this crazy, complicated storm system continues to affect the area, through tomorrow.
