Good Morning! It’s been a rather depressing weather pattern, which has lasted several days. It’s not over yet, but there is finally light at the end of the tunnel. On this video I’ll update you on a very wet first couple of days of the week. Lots of showers and storms across the area today, tonight & Tuesday. But hang on! Lots of rain today & tonight into Tuesday…as a front approaches from the north, which will help draw that Gulf disturbance northward toward the northern Gulf coast. Drier air returns Wednesday & Thursday.
This is Future Rainfall Potential through tomorrow, showing many of us could see an inch or more of rain.
Doppler Radar estimates that many had excessive rainfall over the weekend. The red and purple areas indicate 2-4″ may have fallen is multiple locations.
Hang on! Looks like a string of about 5 nice days in a row is in the cards beginning Wednesday, and through the weekend.
