Cluster of Storms Central Alabama

Attention Coosa, Tallapoosa, Lee and Elmore county.  Cluster of strong storms racing southward, could cause produce 40+ mph wind gusts, intense lightning and heavy downpours.  The cluster is heading south and will be affecting the I-85 corridor including the Montgomery metro area during afternoon rush hour.

Meanwhile, Montgomery as of 3PM has reached 98 degrees, hottest of the summer so far with a heat index of 103.  The storms will bring some heat relief.
