A trough in the upper atmosphere will be the “main player” in another very wet day across the region. Some towns will get locally heavy rain amounts…other towns not too much. Storms will be in generous supply.
A rare summer front will have a big impact on the weekend rain chances, especially Friday night into Saturday.
The models show this front has a rare chance to make it all the way down into south Alabama and maybe into the Gulf by Sunday afternoon.
