Active Storms This Week – Tracking Tropical Storm Franklin – Monday Video

Good Morning!  Much to talk about this morning.  New Tropical Storm Franklin gaining strength in the western Caribbean.  Destined to reach the Yucatan tonight.  Meanwhile, we are locked into deep tropical moisture, and that will lead to some very active thunderstorm days.  I will walk you through the week ahead.   With your toast and coffee this morning, here’s your Monday morning personal Weather briefing.

Tropical Storm Franklin, which formed last night in the west Caribbean, is gaining strength as it heads for the Yucatan tonight.   Tropical Storm Warnings in effect.  After the Yucatan, into the SW Gulf of Mexico.

The other system is Invest 99-L which is struggling and has a difficult future.  NHC gives this system a 20% chance of development next few days.

The Euro model suggests there will be no end to this tropical weather pattern which will produce and abundance of showers & storms for most of the next 10 days.  Little day to day temperature change expected.
