Weekend Forecast Updated – And, the Tropics Heat Up Again – Friday Video

Summer heat and humidity is making a big comeback just in time for the weekend.  The calendar says September, but the weekend will feel like August.   And, don’t now, but there is potential trouble brewing in the tropics, and I’m not just talking about Jose.  I’ll run all down for you on your Friday morning personal weather briefing.

Random Widely scattered afternoon storms make a comeback today and they will be a little more numerous tomorrow.  Today will be a little more humid with highs 88-90.

On this last week of summer, it sure will feel like summer next few days.

There’s not just Jose to watch in the tropics.  TD 14 could become Tropical Storm Lee later today.  And Invest 96-L is a system that will probably trek through the Caribbean and it’s future needs to be watched.  Could this become Maria some day?

JOSE’s official cone from NHC is edged much closer to the US coast, by early next week.

Some models suggest that Jose may have an encounter with the northeast US coastline next week as a hurricane.

T.D. 14 will likely become Tropical Storm Lee later today.
