Weekend Forecast Updated –Thursday Video

Good Morning!  Our “up and down” rain chances will continue through the weekend and beyond.  On today’s video, I’ll show you which days have the better rain chances.  Today, that stalled front will be the focus for more storms.  It’s kind of a 50/50 weekend forecast.  One day has a better rain chance than the other.  And, I have I have a tropical update.  All eyes on the SE and Mid Atlantic coast this weekend.

Today that stalled front across central & south Alabama will be the focus for a generous supply of those random showers and storms.

The “up and down” rain chances. Rain chances are small on Friday, Sunday, and Monday, but we could see at least a 50-60% chance of storms Saturday.  Highs will be in the low to mid 90s with the heat index 100+.

At the beach, the forecast fairly routine on Friday and Sunday.  The day with the best chance of scattered storms is Saturday.

Storm cluster Saturday?   Models are hinting at one of those MCS storm clusters which could bring some strong storms into the state, perhaps first thing Saturday morning.  The Storm Prediction Center has put part of the state in a Marginal Severe Risk.
