Good Morning! Our “up and down” rain chances continue. Today, storms will be hard to find. Very isolated. The heat is on. Expect the heat index to soar into triple digits. Today storms will be very isolated in nature. The big story is the heat. With mid 90’s expected, the heat index will soar into the triple digit range. Stay hydrated.
Our rain chances will start to ramp up again. In fact, scattered to numerous storms are in the cards Friday through Monday, and that will knock the high temperatures down just a notch or two.
Not much happening in the tropics, but way out in the central Atlantic, Invest 98-L was just promoted to Sub-Tropical Depression Five, and could become Ernesto later today.
