Watching a Late Week Storm System – TUESDAY Video

Good morning!  We have a great day ahead of us.  Should be the best day of the week, with abundant sunshine and comfortable temperatures.  But, hang on.  Changes are on the way.  Much of Wednesday will be fine, too.  But, on this video, I’ll update you on a substantial storm system which will have a big affect on our late week weather.  Parts of our state could see some severe weather, too.  And, don’t put away the cold weather clothes yet.  We could be in for a chilly weekend.

Nicest day of the week today, with lots of sun and highs in the mid 70’s   Enjoy!

A slow moving, but formidable storm system approaches by late Wednesday night into Thursday.  This will be a significant snow storm for millions of Americans and severe weather producer for others.

The Storm Prediction center has added a Severe Weather Risk for much of Alabama, roughly west of I-65.  The greatest threat of the stronger storms and maybe a few tornadoes is forecast for much of west and northwest Alabama in the “slight risk” area.
